The 1936 Drama THE HIGH COMMAND was written by Walter Meade, Val Valentine, Katherine Strueby, based upon the novel “The General Goes To Far” by Lewis Robinson, directed by Thorold Dickinson and starred James Mason ROBERT DAVENPORT has held various positions in creative and business affairs at Twentieth Century-Fox, CBS, Viacom, and New World Pictures. Davenport has also served as the EVP at Soaring Eagle Productions and executive producer of several studio films and television projects, and has authored several books, including Rich & Famous. Davenport is the winner of numerous screenwriting awards, including the UCLA Screenwriting Showcase. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. He is a Navy veteran who made two overseas deployments as a plane commander with Patrol Squadron Forty-Four. Following his military career, Davenport attended St. John’s Law School, and went on to work at the Department of Justice through the Attorney General’s Honor Law Graduate Program.
